Getting to Atlanta

Each individual is responsible for arranging their own travel plans to Atlanta. We have provided a list of alternate means of transportation to get you from the airport to the Friday Night Skate, and from Atlanta to Athens on Friday and Sunday evening.
Flights: Arrange flights to arrive at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.

Transportation

Getting to Athens: Friday night bus after social skate from 12th and Piedmont $20.00 Reservations required

Greyhound Bus 232 Forsyth St. @ Garnett MARTA Rail Stop North South Line. Buses leave Atlanta @ 7:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Times subject to change. Reservations suggested. 800-231-2222

AAA Airport Express. Atlanta Airport to Athens leaves every 2-1/2 hours starting at 5:30 a.m. The last shuttle leaves Atlanta at 11:30 p.m. Reservations Required 404-767-2000

Sunday morning bus to Athens - from Skate Escape, 1086 Piedmont Ave. NE, 30309, departs @ 5:00 a.m. $20.00 Reservations required

Sunday night bus to Athens after awards ceremony departs @ 7:30 p.m. $20.00 Reservations required

Getting to Midtown/Friday Night Skate/Piedmont Park: Take MARTA to the Midtown Station. Piedmont Park/Skate Escape is four blocks east and three blocks north. Fare is $1.75 The North/South line runs between the Airport and Midtown.
